A Story of Goodness - Story
In a small town, nestled between rolling hills, lived a woman named Ruth. She was known for her beautiful garden that burst into color each spring. Every Saturday morning, children from the neighborhood would gather at her home, eagerly awaiting the chance to help with the planting and watering. They saw Ruth as a kindred spirit, a nurturer who brought life out of the soil.
One day, as Ruth tended to her garden, she noticed a small sapling struggling to grow among the vibrant blooms. Its leaves were wilting, and it seemed as if the other plants overshadowed it. With a gentle touch, Ruth carefully dug it up, repositioning it to a spot where it could receive both sunlight and water without competition. As the seasons passed, that once-struggling sapling grew strong and tall, its branches reaching toward the sky.
Ruth’s garden teaches us a profound truth about spiritual growth. Psalm 46:10 reminds us, “Be still, and know that I am God.” In those moments of stillness, we allow God to reposition us, to nourish us, and to help us grow in strength. Like the sapling, we all face challenges and feel overshadowed at times. But God, in His goodness, is ever-present, providing opportunities for us to thrive.
So, lean into the guidance of our Creator, trusting that He will cultivate the garden of your soul, bringing forth blossoms of hope and strength in His perfect timing.
