All Authority: Matthew 28:16-20
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
Eleven. Judas was gone. The remaining disciples traveled to Galilee, to a specific mountain Jesus had designated. The journey took days—walking from Jerusalem to the northern region where it all began.
When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
Even now, after resurrection appearances, some doubted. Matthew does not hide this. Faith and doubt coexisted on that mountain. They worshiped, and some still struggled to believe.
