Lord, I do not ask for visions or revelations, nor for any particular pleasures in worship: I ask only for the grace of Thy presence. Thy presence, Lord, is all I ask — the sense that Thou art near me, working in me, using me, whether I am in the kitchen or the chapel, at the table or in the field. Let me practice Thy presence in all things, that all my common duties may be acts of love for Thee.
