Daily Climate Change & Stewardship
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I ponder the urgent call of climate change and our role as stewards of Your creation, I turn to the profound words of Matthew 6:25-34, where You remind us not to worry about our lives—what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies—what we will wear. Each time I see a butterfly fluttering from flower to flower or witness a storm raging outside my window, I'm reminded that all of creation is in Your hands. The beauty and fragility of nature reflect Your artistry and creativity, but they also speak to a pressing need for our care and attention.
Lord, open my eyes to see the world through Your perspective. Help me to interpret the signs of our times not with despair, but with hope. Am I being called to reduce my waste, to choose sustainability, or perhaps to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves—like the polar bears losing their homes or the farmers struggling against drought? Let my choices reflect Your love and grace, and may they draw others into a relationship with You.
Let me shine as a beacon of hope, illuminating the path toward healing our environment. In a world often clouded by uncertainty, may I embody the assurance of Your provision, sharing that assurance with those around me.
