Daily Climate Change & Stewardship
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I stand in the beauty of Your creation, I can almost hear the gentle whisper of Psalm 23:1-6, reminding me that You are my Shepherd. In a world grappling with the weight of Climate Change, I am called to reflect on how I can embody Your love and stewardship. Just as You lead us beside still waters, help me to find paths of righteousness that honor the earth and all its inhabitants.
Imagine, for a moment, a community gathering in a local park, children playing under the shade of trees, laughter mingling with the rustle of leaves. It’s a scene of joy and connection, yet, I wonder: Are those trees healthy? Are the waters glistening with life? You have entrusted us with this earth, and in our hands lies the power to nurture or neglect.
As I contemplate my role in this climate crisis, I ask for Your guidance. Show me how to be a beacon of hope—perhaps by reducing my waste, advocating for sustainable practices, or even planting a tree. Each small action becomes a reflection of Your character, an expression of hesed, Your steadfast love that compels us to care for the vulnerable and the earth.
