As we gather today, I invite you to take a moment to reflect on the beauty of diversity and inclusion in our lives, as illuminated by the profound words of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Imagine a tapestry woven together with threads of different colors and textures—each strand representing a unique story, a distinct experience, a varied background. This is the church; this is the Kingdom of God.

Picture yourself walking through a bustling marketplace, where people of all cultures, ages, and walks of life converge. Each face tells a story of struggle, joy, and hope. In that moment, God whispers to us, “See them as I see them.” He calls us to embody agape, the unconditional love that transcends differences, inviting every person—whether they are wealthy or struggling, familiar or foreign—to belong.

When we embrace this love, we become agents of hope and healing in a world that often feels divided and fragmented. Perhaps there’s a neighbor who feels invisible, or a colleague who is overlooked. What if we extended our hand, not just in friendship, but in genuine inclusion?
