Daily Hatred - Biblical Insight
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I come before You today, I can’t help but reflect on the pervasive presence of hatred in our world and, at times, in my own heart. It's easy to become overwhelmed by the bitterness that seeps into our interactions—whether it’s the harsh words exchanged in the grocery store line or the divisive rhetoric that fills our news feeds. In the midst of this chaos, I turn to Your wisdom in Galatians 5:22-23, where You remind us of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Help me to view my life through Your lens, to see the anger that brews within as an opportunity for transformation. Instead of allowing hatred to take root, may I respond with the love and grace You have so freely given me. When I encounter hostility in the eyes of a co-worker or the frustration of a friend, let my heart be a beacon of Your healing light.
May my actions echo Your character, drawing others closer to You rather than pushing them away. Let me be the person who brings hope into the darkness, the one who extends a hand when others clench their fists. This is not just a personal journey; it’s a call to be part of Your grand narrative of redemption.
