Daily Hatred
Heavenly Father,
As I pause to reflect on the presence of hatred in my life today, I am struck by the profound wisdom of your Word in Galatians 5:22-23. Your call to embody the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, and patience—beckons me to look beyond my own struggles with anger and resentment. Help me to see through your compassionate eyes, recognizing that hatred is often a mask for deeper wounds.
Imagine, for a moment, the life of a person burdened by bitterness—a neighbor who feels neglected, a colleague who struggles with jealousy, or a family member weighed down by past hurts. These individuals, lost in their darkness, need a ray of your light. They need someone to approach them with kindness, to offer a gentle word that breaks the chain of animosity.
Lord, guide me to be that light. Let my actions mirror your grace, transforming every encounter into an opportunity for healing. Help me to respond not with defensiveness, but with open arms, inviting others into your embrace.
