I think of the families who stand in long lines at our borders, their faces etched with hope and fear, seeking a better life. These are not just statistics; they are mothers and fathers, children clutching teddy bears, hearts beating with the same desire for safety and belonging that we all share.

Help me to see them through Your compassionate eyes, to recognize in their struggles the image of Christ. There are moments, perhaps in our workplaces or neighborhoods, where we can extend a hand of welcome—a simple invitation for a meal, a listening ear, or a shared story that affirms their humanity.
