Daily Lent - Biblical Insight
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I embark on this sacred journey of Lent, I am drawn to the profound truths found in Colossians 1:15-20, where Paul paints a breathtaking portrait of Your Son as the very image of the invisible God. In this season of reflection and repentance, I ask: how can I truly see my life through Your lens? Help me to grasp the enormity of Your love and grace, which hold all creation together.
Imagine for a moment a darkened room, where shadows dance and uncertainty whispers in our ears. We all have our corners of darkness—perhaps it's a strained relationship, an addiction, or the weight of unfulfilled dreams. Yet, in these very places, You call us to be beacons of light. Guide me, Lord, to be a source of hope and healing to those around me. Let my actions reflect Your unwavering grace, drawing others closer to Your heart.
During this Lent, may I embrace the challenge to not only seek personal growth but to actively serve those in need. Perhaps it’s offering a listening ear to a friend who is struggling or volunteering at a local shelter. Each small act of kindness can ripple out, transforming the world around me, just as Your love has transformed my own heart.
