Devotional: Healing
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I pause in Your presence today, I reflect on the profound wisdom encapsulated in Matthew 6:25-34, where You invite us to surrender our worries and trust in Your provision. Just as the lilies of the valley bloom without anxiety and the birds of the air sing with abandon, I long to see my own life filled with that same peace and security in Your care.
Help me to view my struggles through Your eyes, especially those areas that ache for healing. In moments of despair, when I feel like a withered branch, remind me that Your love is the balm that mends our brokenness. Guide me to be a beacon of hope in a world that often feels shrouded in darkness, sharing the healing I have received with those around me.
This week, I invite you to consider a specific person in your life who is yearning for healing—perhaps a neighbor battling illness, a friend wrestling with grief, or even a stranger you encounter in the supermarket who is carrying the weight of unspoken burdens. What might it look like for you to be a vessel of God’s grace to them?
