Evening Prayer: Digital Addiction & Freedom - Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I pause in this sacred moment of reflection, I’m drawn to the wisdom of Micah 6:8, where You call us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You. In a world pulsating with the constant buzz of notifications and the flickering glow of screens, I recognize the grip that digital addiction can have on my heart. It’s easy to become entrapped, isn’t it? Just like a moth drawn to a flame, I can lose sight of what truly matters—relationships, prayer, and service to others.
Lord, help me to view this struggle not as a burden but as a call to freedom—freedom that shines brightly in the darkness. Teach me to step away from the screen and into the warmth of community, where genuine connections can flourish. May my actions not only reflect Your character but also invite others into a space of healing and hope.
As I engage with those around me, remind me that my struggle can become a testimony. When I share my journey toward balance and intentionality in a world so often distracted, I can inspire others to seek their own path to freedom.
