Evening Prayer: Digital Addiction & Freedom - Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I pause to reflect on the shadow of Digital Addiction that sometimes creeps into my life, I am drawn to the profound wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Lord, in a world where screens beckon like sirens, help me to see clearly through Your eyes. Illuminate the pathways I walk and guide my heart to the freedom that comes from trusting You.

This evening, I invite Your light into the dark corners of my digital habits. Help me to recognize when I have surrendered my precious time to mindless scrolling, when the glowing screen has lulled me into a stupor instead of drawing me closer to You. Lord, grant me the courage to step away from distractions and to seek true connection—both with You and with those around me.

May my journey toward freedom from this digital bondage be a testimony of hope and healing, not just for me, but for those I encounter. Let my actions reflect Your boundless love and grace, igniting a spark in others who may feel trapped in their own cycles of distraction.
