Evening Prayer: Technology & Human Connection - Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I pause to reflect on the intersection of Technology and Human Connection in my life, I find myself drawn back to the comforting words of Psalm 23: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." In our digital age, where connections can often feel shallow and fleeting, help me to see each interaction as an opportunity to embody your hesed, your steadfast love.
Imagine a weary traveler navigating a vast desert, parched and longing for an oasis. In that moment of desperation, a gentle stream appears—a refreshing gift amidst the arid landscape. Similarly, may I become that stream for those I encounter online and in person, especially those who feel isolated or overwhelmed. In my posts, my texts, and my conversations, let me be a beacon of your hope and healing.
Guide me to tread thoughtfully in this digital world, where words and images can either uplift or tear down. Grant me the discernment to know when to engage and when to pause; when to speak words of encouragement and when to simply listen. May my actions reflect your character, drawing others closer to your grace and love.
