He was in Rome. Chained. Under guard. But his heart was in Ephesus—the city where he had spent three years, the church he loved, the believers he longed to see.
For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God's people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
He had heard reports. Their faith was growing. Their love was spreading. Even from a Roman prison, Paul could not stop giving thanks.
