As we gather today, I invite you to journey with me through the lens of Jeremiah 29:11—a verse that has offered hope to countless believers: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This promise resonates deeply in the realm of Healthcare & Healing Ministry, where the delicate threads of human dignity, divine sovereignty, and our calling as Christians weave together a rich tapestry of purpose and compassion.

Imagine, if you will, a young mother in our community, weary and worried, holding her sick child in a crowded waiting room. Her heart is heavy with questions—Will my child be okay? What does the future hold? In moments like these, the promise of God's plans becomes more than just comforting words; it transforms into a robust reality that empowers us to act. Our faith compels us to engage in healthcare ministry, to be conduits of hesed (loving-kindness), where we reflect God’s heart for healing not only in body but in spirit.

As Pentecostal believers, we are called to be both prayer warriors and hands-on helpers, actively pursuing the wholeness that Jesus offers. This means advocating for equitable healthcare, providing resources for mental wellness, and offering a listening ear to those in distress.
