Field of Dreams: Assurance of Things Not Seen (Hebrews 11:1)

In Field of Dreams, Ray Kinsella hears a voice: If you build it, he will come. He plows under profitable corn to build a baseball diamond in rural Iowa. His family thinks he is crazy. Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Ray cannot prove his vision; he can only obey it. He builds based on a promise with no visible evidence. That is Hebrews 11 faith—plowing under the certain crop to plant the invisible one. Sometimes faith means everyone thinks you are crazy except the One who spoke.
