Four Paths of Examination: Private, Social, Sacred, Public
The psalmist's declaration—"I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies"—unveils a penetrating self-examination that encompasses the whole architecture of a believer's life.
First, consider your private ways—those moments in solitude when no eye observes but Yahweh's. What transpires in your chamber, your thought-life, your secret prayers? Are they worthy of the One who sees all?
Second, examine your social ways—how you conduct yourself among family, friends, and neighbors. Does your tongue speak truth? Do your hands deal justly? The measure of your character emerges not in isolation but in relationship.
Third, scrutinize your sacred ways—your approach to worship, your hunger for Scripture, your devotion in prayer. Have you grown cold toward the things of Elohim, or do you press forward with holy intensity?
