God's Omniscience: The Eye That Beholds All Things

The eyes of Yahweh are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. This doctrine of Divine omniscience rests upon irrefutable proofs. Where a cause or agent acts, that cause must virtually be present. The Almighty Father's power manifests in every particle of creation—not through mechanical laws or chance, but through agency comprehending instincts, reason, imagination, and the minds of intellectual creatures in their endless diversity. The Supreme Cause acts eternally and remains ever present, governing, animating, and preserving all existence.

Consider the human conscience in transgression. That inner voice is no mere prejudice or superstition, but the great moral instinct implanted by our heavenly Father. It serves as an additional sense, reminding us of His continual presence precisely when we need it most—in temptation and guilt. God's omnipresence necessarily follows from His wisdom and power, and proves absolutely essential to the perfect justice He renders at the last day.

This truth yields supreme advantages. In nature and human affairs, God's Sustaining and Directing power operate ceaselessly. He upholds all things alone—accounting for the will's command over bodily motion, the blood's circulation, matter's adhesion, and what philosophers call gravitation. Prophecies and miracles demonstrate His ongoing interpositition in human affairs. Since Elohim sustains all things here below by His power, we reasonable creatures must exert ourselves in praise, thanksgiving, gratitude, and prayer.
