Implementing Human Nature - Teaching Material

Imagine a bustling marketplace, where every vendor is shouting to be heard, each competing for attention amidst the clamor of life. She clutches a small box, her dreams and desires contained within it, yet she stands paralyzed, unsure of which direction to take. This is often how we approach our own human nature—pulled in myriad directions, struggling to discern the path God intends for us.

Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to a radical trust, urging us to lean not on our own understanding. This week, let us invite God’s wisdom into our lives in four very tangible ways.

First, reflect on your current struggles. Are there areas where you’ve leaned too heavily on your own reasoning rather than seeking divine guidance? Journal your thoughts, pray over them, and lay them bare before God.

Next, engage with your community. Perhaps there’s a local shelter or food bank where volunteers are desperately needed. Your presence could be the light of Christ shining against the darkness of despair.
