Lessons from Patience - Story
In a small village, there lived a wise woman named Miriam. She was known for her patience, often spending hours in her garden. One day, a young girl named Leah approached her, bursting with frustration. “Miriam, I want my flowers to bloom now! Why do I have to wait?”
Miriam smiled, her hands gently cupping a newly planted seedling. “Leah, let me show you something.” She led Leah to a patch of soil where the seeds had just been sown. “These seeds will take time, but with the right care, they will transform into beautiful blooms.”
Leah frowned, her impatience bubbling over. “But why do they take so long? I want to see them now!”
With a twinkle in her eye, Miriam replied, “Patience is a gift, Leah. Just like the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23, waiting allows us to cultivate grace and purpose.”
