Lessons from Righteousness - Story

In a small town, there was a man named Samuel who had walked a difficult path in life. He was a master of disguises, wearing the mask of bravado and confidence, but inside, he was deeply fractured. Years of addiction and heartache had left him feeling like a sheep lost in the wilderness. But one day, as he wandered through the park, he stumbled upon a group of people gathered for prayer. Curious, he drifted closer, drawn by the warmth of their laughter and the sincerity in their voices.

As he listened, Samuel noticed a woman named Grace sharing her testimony. She spoke of how the Good Shepherd had found her in the darkest of valleys and had led her to a place of peace. “He restores my soul,” she exclaimed, her eyes shimmering with the light of redemption. Those words pierced Samuel’s heart. He realized he didn’t just need to hear about grace; he needed it for himself.

That night, he knelt alone in his room, a humble prayer escaping his lips. “Lord, I’m tired of living in the shadows. I want to know what it means to be made whole.” In that moment, he felt a warmth envelop him—a presence he could only describe as the love of the Good Shepherd.
