Lessons from Salvation - Story
There’s a small, battered seed tucked away in a garden shed, forgotten among gardening tools and old pots. This seed, once vibrant and full of life, is now covered in dust and surrounded by shadows. Yet, deep within it lies the potential for a magnificent tree, one that could soar high above the garden, providing shade, shelter, and beauty.
One day, a gardener walks into that shed, drawn by an inexplicable urge. As she brushes off the dust, she recognizes the seed and feels a flicker of hope. With care, she plants it in rich soil, waters it, and exposes it to the sun. Day after day, she nurtures it, even when it seems dormant and lifeless. But with patience and perseverance, the seed begins to sprout, breaking free from the constraints that once held it back.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that “those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles.” Just as that seed transforms into a towering tree, we too experience salvation as a process of growth and renewal. There are seasons when faith feels dormant, when we struggle to see our purpose. Yet, in those moments, the Gardener—our loving God—works beneath the surface, preparing us for something extraordinary.
As we trust in Him, we are encouraged to persevere. Each day of faith, each moment of surrender, is a step toward soaring high above our struggles, finding our purpose, and experiencing spiritual growth that astounds us. In the hands of the Gardener, we are never beyond hope.
