Lord, I pray Thee not for anything in this world, not even for all that is in heaven. I pray only to be empty of self, that Thou mayest find room to enter in. For the soul that is empty, God enters; and in that entering is all fullness. He who lets go of all things, gains all things. The soul in which God is to work must be empty of all else.
