Morning Meditation: Climate Change & Stewardship - Biblical Insight

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather today, let us reflect on the profound connection between our faith and the stewardship of this beautiful earth You have entrusted to us. I am reminded of the wisdom in Proverbs 3:5-6, which urges us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart" and to lean not on our own understanding. In the face of climate change, we often feel overwhelmed, grappling with the enormity of the issues before us. But, Lord, grant us eyes to see this world as You see it—a place filled with potential and a canvas for Your grace.

Imagine a single tree, its branches reaching out to the sun, providing shade and shelter to countless creatures. That tree stands as a testament to the resilience of creation. As we ponder our role in this climate crisis, let us ask ourselves: How can we be like that tree? How can we extend our branches—our resources, our compassion—to those around us, especially the vulnerable who suffer the most from environmental degradation?
