Morning Meditation: Environmental Justice - Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I pause this morning, I am struck by the beauty of creation that surrounds me—the vibrant hues of dawn breaking through the trees, the distant song of birds heralding a new day. Yet, I am also reminded of the weight of responsibility that comes with this gift. In Proverbs 3:5-6, you call us to trust in you wholeheartedly and to seek your guidance in all our ways. Today, I ask for your wisdom as I reflect on the urgent call of Environmental Justice, a matter that resonates deeply with your heart.
Help me to see the world through your eyes—eyes that witness the loss of lush forests, the choking of rivers, and the fragile state of communities that suffer from environmental degradation. Teach me how to respond to these needs with the same love and grace you have poured into my life. May I be a vessel of your compassion, whether it’s joining a local clean-up effort, advocating for sustainable practices, or simply being a voice for the voiceless in our creation.
Guide me to be a beacon of hope in the darkness, illuminating paths of healing for both the planet and its people. Let my actions reflect your character, drawing others closer to the love of Christ through tangible expressions of care for our environment.
