Morning Meditation: Folly - Story
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I sit quietly this morning, I find myself wrestling with the shadows of folly that creep into my life. In this sacred moment, I'm drawn to the profound wisdom of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, where love stands as the antidote to our folly. I can almost hear the gentle whisper of the Apostle Paul reminding us that love is patient and kind, never easily angered, and always rejoicing in the truth.
Picture that moment when you feel the weight of frustration pressing down on you—perhaps it’s a difficult coworker whose words sting like daggers, or a loved one who seems to walk a path of reckless choices. In those instances, will I respond with grace, reflecting the love that God has showered upon me? Today, Lord, I ask for the clarity to see folly through Your eyes, to be a beacon of hope instead of a echo of despair.
In the face of darkness, let my actions illuminate the way towards healing. May I not just harbor Your love within, but let it spill over, touching those around me. Like a wellspring that quenches thirst, may my life draw others closer to Your heart.
