Morning Meditation: Glory
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I sit quietly this morning, I am drawn to the profound parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. This story, rich with layers of grace and redemption, invites me to reflect on the "Glory" within my own life—the moments of wandering, the seasons of longing, and the grace-filled returns.
In the depths of my heart, I can picture that father, standing on the horizon, his eyes scanning the distance for that familiar silhouette. Can you imagine the rush of joy when he finally sees his son? That is the essence of hesed, God’s steadfast love, which continually beckons us back into relationship, no matter how far we may have strayed.
When I think about how God sees me, I am reminded that He does not dwell on my past mistakes; instead, He restores me with open arms. Today, I ask for eyes to see the "Glory" in my life through that same lens of love and grace. I pray that in my interactions with others, I might be a beacon of hope in the shadows of their own struggles.
