Morning Meditation: Humility - Biblical Insight
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I rise to meet this day, the weight of humility rests upon my heart, bringing to mind the profound truth found in Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God." What a beautiful reminder that our worth is not earned, but freely given, wrapped in the tender embrace of Your love.
Help me, Lord, to see my heart through Your eyes. Let me not just glimpse my shortcomings, but recognize the grace that fills those gaps. Perhaps humility can be as simple as listening more than I speak—as it was for the wise friend who sat with me during a recent trial, offering nothing but presence and understanding, a balm to my frayed spirit.
Guide me to be a beacon of hope in this world often overshadowed by pride and division. May my actions reflect Your character, as I strive to lift others rather than elevate myself. Let my hands be instruments of healing, my words carriers of grace, so that others may encounter the warmth of Your love through me.
