Morning Meditation: Humility - Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I rise this morning, I pause and breathe in the stillness, feeling the gentle reminder of your grace wash over me. I am struck by the profound wisdom in Ephesians 2:8-9, where Paul whispers to our hearts that it is by grace we have been saved, not by our own efforts. What a beautiful truth! This morning, I pray for a fresh revelation of humility in my life.
Help me to see humility not as a burden, but as the light that shines in the dark corners of my ego. Remind me of the moments when I’ve stumbled, not because I lacked talent, but because I lacked perspective. Just as the sun breaks through the clouds after a storm, may my humility illuminate paths of hope and healing for others.
I think of those everyday heroes—the single mother juggling multiple jobs, the neighbor who quietly serves in the background, or the friend who listens without judgment. They embody humility, revealing your character through their selfless actions. Lord, guide me to be that kind of light today.
