Morning Meditation: Missions
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I awaken to the possibilities of today, I pause to reflect on the profound calling of Missions in my life. In Galatians 5:22-23, your Word speaks of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Each of these qualities is a gift, a compass guiding us toward your mission in the world.
Help me, Lord, to see through your eyes—a vision that pierces the fog of indifference and illuminates the urgent need for your presence in the lives of others. As I walk through my day, may I be a beacon of light in the dark corners where hopelessness resides.
Picture a mother in a remote village, weary and worn, searching for solace amidst the chaos of her life. Let my hands be willing to serve her, my words to uplift, and my heart to embrace her as you have embraced me. May the kindness I extend reflect your hesed—your steadfast love—and draw her closer to the heart of Christ.
