This is devotionals, drawing on Colossians 3:23. It carries an emotional tone of hope, love and joy.
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I pause to reflect on the beauty of your creation and my role in caring for it, I am drawn to the profound wisdom found in Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” In this call to action, I sense your gentle invitation to engage with Sustainability and Creation Care in a way that mirrors your love and grace.
Help me, Lord, to see the world through your eyes— to witness the delicate balance of life in the flutter of a butterfly, the rustle of the leaves, and the vibrant colors of a sunset. Each element of creation speaks of your glory and your intention for us to be stewards of this earth. Let me not turn a blind eye to the cries of creation, but instead, let my heart break for what breaks yours.
As I walk through my daily life, guide me to be a beacon of hope in the environmental challenges we face. May I engage in small acts of kindness—like planting a tree, recycling diligently, or advocating for those without a voice—each one a tangible expression of my commitment to you and your creation.
