Practical Heaven - Teaching Material

In the light of Titus 3:5, which reminds us that we are saved not because of righteous works we have done, but because of His mercy, let us consider how we can bring a taste of Heaven to our world this week.

First, I invite you to engage in personal reflection. Picture your own life and ask yourself: How does the promise of Heaven reshape my daily decisions and interactions? Perhaps you’ve been holding onto grudges or struggling with bitterness. Allow the hope of Heaven, where all will be made right, to wash over you and free you to forgive.

Next, think about community engagement. Identify one tangible way you can introduce a glimpse of Heaven into your local space. Maybe it's volunteering at a shelter, offering kindness to a neighbor in need, or simply sharing a meal with someone who feels isolated. In those moments, you are embodying hesed, the loving-kindness that God demonstrates toward us.

And don’t forget the power of prayer. Commit to daily prayer, asking God to reveal your unique purpose in this mission of transforming our community. As you pray, listen for His invitation to step into action, whether through words of encouragement or steadfast support for those around you.
