Dear God of Love and Justice,

As I pause in prayer today, I am drawn to the words of Amos 5:24, where you call us to let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Lord, help me to see the issue of immigration and the call to welcome others through your eyes. When I encounter families seeking refuge, may I remember that each face reflects your divine image, each story is a glimpse of your unwavering hope.

Lead me to be a beacon of light in the shadows of fear and division. For every person standing at a border, yearning for safety, remind me that you are present in their struggle. May my heart be an open door, welcoming those who come seeking a place to belong. Help me to act not just with words but with compassion that flows like a river, enveloping those around me in love that transforms.

In the name of the One who came to bring good news to the poor and freedom to the oppressed, may my hands and heart mirror your justice. Let my actions contribute to a community where healing prevails, where every person is treated with dignity, and where we strive together to build a kingdom of peace.
