Quiet Time: Political Division & Unity

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I pause in this sacred moment, reflecting on the stark realities of Political Division and the yearning for Unity, I find myself drawn to the profound narrative of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37. Here, amidst hostility and cultural barriers, we see a heart stirred by compassion. The Samaritan, disregarding the societal divisions of his day, bends down to care for the wounded traveler. This is not just a story; it is a divine blueprint for how we are to engage with one another.

Lord, grant me the eyes to see beyond the labels and party lines that so easily divide us. When I encounter those whose perspectives clash with my own, remind me of the grace You have poured into my life. Like the Samaritan, may I step away from the comfortable confines of my echo chamber and embrace those who are suffering, even if they hold different beliefs.

Guide my heart to be a beacon of hope in a world shrouded in discord. Help me to weave Your love into every conversation, to offer healing in every disagreement.
