Quiet Time: Technology & Human Connection - Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I stand at the intersection of Technology and Human Connection today, I am drawn back to the profound wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” These words invite me to pause and consider how I navigate the digital waters that often threaten to pull me away from genuine relationships.
In a world buzzing with notifications and screens glowing with endless feeds, I can easily lose sight of the sacred connections you have called me to cultivate. Help me to discern when to set aside my device—a small act that may seem insignificant but can lead to moments of true encounter. May I find ways to use technology not as a barrier, but as a bridge that connects hearts.
Let my online interactions shine with agape, the unconditional love that reflects your heart, reminding those I encounter that they are seen, valued, and loved. When I scroll through my feeds, may I do so with the eyes of Christ—seeking opportunities to encourage, uplift, and support others.
