Here, the Hebrew word for "hope," qavah, conveys a deep, expectant waiting—a posture of humility that acknowledges we cannot flourish on our own. The gardener doesn’t force the bloom; they trust in the Creator’s timing, knowing that strength comes from surrendering control.

In our own lives, we must allow our faith to cultivate a spirit of humility. This can look like reaching out to a neighbor in need, admitting when we are wrong, or simply pausing to listen before we speak. These acts of vulnerability create space for God’s strength to renew us.
