Spiritual Insight: Money
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, as I sit quietly in your presence, I turn my heart toward the topic of money, a subject that we often navigate with trepidation or even fear. Yet, your Word in Psalm 46:1 reminds me that you are my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. How can I approach an area of my life that often feels overwhelming without first recognizing your steadfast presence?
Help me, Lord, to view my relationship with money not through a lens of anxiety but through your eyes—eyes that see the deeper needs of my heart and the world around me. When I encounter financial decisions, whether they’re as simple as budgeting for groceries or as complex as charitable giving, guide me to respond with the love and grace you have so freely given me.
Imagine, if you will, a single mother in our community, working tirelessly to provide for her children, and struggling to make ends meet. May my actions reflect your character, infusing her with hope and encouragement. Let me be the light in her darkness, showing her that even in financial hardship, your provision is near.
