St. John Paul II's Life Plan - Catholic (Jeremiah 29:11)
Karol Wojtyła lost his mother at 9, his brother at 12, and his father at 20. The Nazis occupied his country; he worked in a quarry while secretly studying for the priesthood. He could not have imagined becoming Pope John Paul II. Looking back, he saw God's plan in every loss and detour. "God writes straight with crooked lines," he often said. Jeremiah 29:11 doesn't promise we'll understand the plan—just that there IS a plan, and it's good. Trust the Author even when you can't read the plot.
