The Apostle's Scars: 2 Corinthians 11:23-33

Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more.

The comparison was distasteful. Paul knew it. Out of my mind. Paraphronōn. Speaking as a fool. But false apostles were boasting. Paul would boast too—but of weakness.

I am more. Huper egō. The claim that needed defense.

I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again.
