A businessman prayed desperately for a deal to go through. Every door closed. He was devastated—it made no sense. Months later, the company he would have partnered with collapsed in scandal. Had the deal succeeded, he would have lost everything. The closed door was protection he couldn't see. "Trust in the LORD... lean not on your own understanding." Sometimes God's "no" is mercy we can't perceive. Pentecostals emphasize: God is actively guiding. Trust His direction, even the detours.
