The Eucharistic Sacrifice Extended - Catholic (Romans 12:1-2)

In Catholic teaching, the Eucharist is Christ's sacrifice made present. But Romans 12:1-2 calls believers to JOIN that sacrifice—offering our bodies alongside Christ's body. The offertory procession, where bread and wine are brought forward, symbolizes this: we offer ourselves with the gifts. Pope Benedict XVI taught that the Mass extends into daily life—every act of love becomes sacrifice offered with Christ. "Present your bodies" isn't separate from Eucharist; it's Eucharist lived out.
