The Example of Grace - Story

There was a small town known for its annual festival, a tradition where families would gather to celebrate the harvest. This year, however, the weather had turned sour. A fierce storm swept through days before the event, leaving the fields muddy and the preparations in disarray.

Amid the chaos, a young girl named Lily was disheartened. She had spent weeks preparing her family’s booth, crafting beautiful decorations and gathering fresh produce. As she stood in the rain, tears mixing with raindrops, her mother knelt beside her and gently said, “Lily, sometimes we have to let go of our plans and trust what comes next.”

With her mother’s encouragement, they decided to transform their booth into a cozy space for stories and laughter rather than a traditional display. They shared hot cocoa and tales of hope by the fire, creating an unexpected warmth that drew people in.
