The Example of Wisdom - Story
There was once a wise woman named Maria who lived in a small village. She was known not just for her vast knowledge, but for how she embodied wisdom in her daily life. One day, a young man named Luca approached her, burdened by the weight of uncertainty. He felt lost, overwhelmed by the paths before him, unsure of which direction to take.
Maria invited Luca to join her for a walk through a nearby garden. As they strolled among the vibrant flowers, Maria pointed out a small tree that bore no fruit. “Do you see that tree, Luca? It’s young and struggling. It looks bare, but it is still growing deep roots in the soil.”
Luca nodded, but still felt confusion. “But how can I find my purpose if I feel so barren?” he asked.
Maria smiled gently, “Ah, but the beauty lies in the process. Just as that tree is being nourished, so too are you being shaped. Remember Jeremiah 29:11—God has plans for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Trust in that promise.”
