The Fruit That Crosses Cultures - Missional (Galatians 5:22-23)

A missionary observed: in every culture, the fruit of the Spirit is recognized as beautiful. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness—these translate. Cultures may differ on what's intelligent or successful, but everyone recognizes genuine love. The Spirit's fruit is cross-cultural witness: "They will know you are my disciples by your love." A local pastor in a resistant culture said: "Arguments for Christianity fail; lives of gentleness and self-control attract." The fruit of the Spirit is missional strategy.
