The Glory Descends: Exodus 40:34-38

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

The tabernacle complete. Every curtain hung, every piece positioned, every instruction followed. And then—the glory came. The cloud that had led them from Egypt now settled on the tent. The glory that had terrified from Sinai now filled the tabernacle.

Covered. Filled. The structure built for God's presence now received what it was built for.

Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
