The God Who Recovers What Was Lost

When you delete a file from your computer, something remarkable happens — or rather, doesn't happen. The data isn't actually erased. Your operating system simply removes the pointer that said, "this file lives here," and marks the space as available. But the original ones and zeros remain on the drive, waiting to be found.
