The Jerusalem Summit: Galatians 2:1-10
Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.
Fourteen years. The gospel had been spreading among Gentiles for fourteen years. Churches were being planted across Asia Minor. Uncircumcised Greeks were being baptized, receiving the Spirit, living as Christians.
And the question hung over everything: Were they really Christians? Or did they need something more?
I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel I preach among the Gentiles. I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race in vain.
