The Network That Finds What Is Lost

When Apple introduced the AirTag in 2021, it came with a remarkable feature called the Find My network. The tiny tracker carries no GPS of its own. Instead, it sends out a quiet Bluetooth signal, and any nearby Apple device — belonging to a complete stranger walking past on the sidewalk, sitting in a coffee shop, driving down the highway — anonymously relays the AirTag's location back to its owner. Nearly a billion devices worldwide form an invisible search party, and their owners never even know they helped.

Jesus told a parable about a shepherd who left ninety-nine sheep to search for the one that wandered off. That ancient story finds a striking echo in modern technology. God deploys His own network to find what is lost — and it is far more vast than Apple's. He works through a stranger's kindness at a gas station. Through a friend who sends a message saying "just thinking of you" at exactly the right moment. Through a verse that suddenly reads differently the hundredth time.

Faith is trusting that the network is active even when you cannot see it working. You may feel lost right now — disconnected, drifting, out of range. But the signal is still going out. The Almighty has a network of grace you cannot see, quietly working to bring you home.
