The Power of Wisdom - Story
There was a wise grandmother in a small town, known for her garden that flourished in every season. Folks would often gather by her fence to admire the vibrant flowers and lush vegetables. One day, a young man, lost and seeking purpose, approached her. “Grandma,” he said, “how do you grow such a beautiful garden?”
With a twinkle in her eye, she invited him in, and as they walked among the plants, she shared her secret. “It’s not just the soil or the sun,” she explained. “It’s the wisdom of knowing how to nurture what God has given me. Just like in life, we must dig deep, find the roots, and feed them with love and faith.”
She pointed to a small, struggling plant. “This one faced a harsh storm, but I didn’t pull it out; I gave it time and care. Sometimes, when life knocks us down, we need to be rooted in faith.”
As she spoke, the young man felt a warmth spreading through his heart. He realized that God’s love, as stated in John 3:16—where He gave His only Son—was like the water that nourished his soul. It reminded him that transformation is a process, often requiring patience and trust.
